What Emphasis Do You Place On Healthy Eating?

Healthy and nutritious food is offered at Park Wood. The emphasis on fresh, organic produce and our cook, Katy Elliot prepares all meals for children over 12 months of age without using salt or additives. She also provides suitable weaning food for babies under 12 months.

We have just been awarded the Wirral Health Promoting Early Years Programme Award for working together to provide a healthy lifestyle for our children, families and staff at Park Wood.

 


Mealtimes are set throughout the day as follows:

Breakfast - 8:00am to 9:00am Continental Breakfast
Morning Snack - 10:30am Fresh Fruit served with Milk or Chilled Water
Lunch - 11:15am A Hot Homemade Dinner

Vegetarian and Vegan Alternative Available

Special Dietary Requirements are always met (e.g. Gluten and Dairy Free)

Afternoon Tea - 3:00pm A Variety of Wholemeal Sandwiches, Wraps, Tortillas and Rolls
