Park Wood is situated in the heart of National Trust woodland. The Outside Environment has been brought indoors at Park Wood. Attractive Woodland Murals and Paintings are displayed throughout. Each Room at Park Wood is named after a Woodland Creature and the children are organised as follows
"The Dormice & The Hedgehogs Room” for younger babies

“The Rabbits Room” for toddlers

“The Badger Rooms” when they are over the age of two

Finally, when over the age of three, they progress to “The Owls Room” which is our pre-school department.

The children engage in a wide variety of stimulating and educational activities. This enables progress in all areas of his/her development whilst always catering for their individual needs, hence our Mission Statement, “Developing Your Child’s Potential”. We are deeply commited to the concept of children “learning through play”.

Park Wood Nursery has a large outside play area. This has been divided into a barked area for the children to play on large outdoor equipment and a paved area to ride on bikes and trikes! Also, the children frequently explore the adjacent woods, go on nature walks to the stables or visit the nearby Tam O' Shanter Farm and Bidston Hill.

We strongly advise you to visit Park Wood in order to experience and appreciate the unique features that make it a Superior Day Care and Pre-School Establishment.
